Activate old or new account

Hello! Before December 2016, I had an account with username andrewmurphy and email address front.desk@keystone-research-solutions.com. Today, finding that old account unavailable, I signed up for a new account with username andrewmurphy2 and email address front.desk@keystone-research-solutions.com. The system sent emails, the last of which told me to "respond to this e-mail within the next 3 days." There was no link in that email, so I hit my "reply" button and sent a message back to confirm-t3o-account@typo3.org. I have received nothing further for 90 minutes, and my latest attempt to login to both typo3.org and my.typo3.org apparently failed. (There was no failure message.) So, what is the next step?
