To improve the visibility of team meetings/hangouts we want to provide every team member with typo3.org backend access an easy possibility to add protocols fast.
This is an additional possibility to show the protocols, but every team should've minimum a link to the past protocols.
**How to solve it?**
1. Create a new content element named `protocol` with the fields `header`, `date` and `bodytext` (maybe `author`)
1. Create a new content element named `protocol_list` to show all `protocol` elements ordered by date desc, maybe in accordion way. Additionally a value to restrict the maximum items, so one can teaser the last 10 protocols on the team homepage and more on a subpage.
**How to use it?**
Create a new content element after or during a meeting, add your discussed points (even use links and structure with headings and lists) and save it. News articles only list authors. Credits to other contributors must be added to the bodytext. This prevents statistics and connection to a future contribution karma system.
### Proposal
Add this information to news articles through an unlimited number of IRRE relations containing two fields:
* A drop-down menu for selecting role. The items are derived from TypoScript (i.e. a predefined list).
* Selection field for choosing a single frontend user (as in News on typo3.org today).

# Motivation
There is currently no way to filter by spoken language. I believe all "official" events are in English, most (or all) of the barcamps in Germany are in German and some barcamps outside of Germany are in English. As a newbie it is confusing, you can look at the webpage of the event and that should give you a hint but it is quite tedious to specifically look for events in English if you don't know some of this "insider" information and even I don't know which TYPO3 camps would be in English, for example.
I was at the t3cmd (Dresden) and there were at least 2 people there who spoke little or no German. I am sure they were made aware of the fact that the camp was in German, but it got me thinking, that we could still make it a little easier for people who do not speak German and some people who live in Germany and use TYPO3 do not automatically speak German._Ready for sprintNITSANsanjay@nitsan.inNITSANsanjay@nitsan.inhttps://git.typo3.org/services/t3o-sites/typo3.org/typo3.org/-/issues/339Allow form creation for editors2018-10-29T14:27:59ZSusanne MoogAllow form creation for editorsWe would like to add several forms to T3O for the core development area to make structured communication easier, but at the moment we can only create forms that are saved in the `t3olayout` extension (which we then can't delete anymore)....We would like to add several forms to T3O for the core development area to make structured communication easier, but at the moment we can only create forms that are saved in the `t3olayout` extension (which we then can't delete anymore).

In the docs team, we are wondering where to do online focused discussions. Slack is very insufficient for that. There is **decisions.typo3.org** but that is apparently for core team issues (see text on start page and this comment:https://decisions.typo3.org/t/extbase-authorization-permission-layer/420/3).
It is not just about discussions to come to a decision. It's also about knowledge sharing and communication. decisisions.typo3.org does a good job for both goals, I think.
# Problem
* The **mailing-lists** were available to lead focused discussions on a specific topic and exchange knowledge. Now we have Slack, which is hard to follow in some ways and not publicly searchable. There is decisions, but the bar is much higher for initiating a discussion there. It has been communicated that the mailing-lists are dead, but I have never seen this done publicly in a clear way.
* there is **talk.typo3.org** but there is not even a text at the top of the page. I am unsure what to use it for.
* There is the **wiki**, which is still being used for team communication. There are plans to possibly shut down the Wiki, but it should be communicated, what is recommended to use instead.
* We talked about "best practices" at the DevDays. It would be good to have best practices for communication and collaboration tools. Some people use Google Docs, some use Etherpad. If you are in multiple teams, this is a burden and does not make participation any easier. Also, it is important for the community to be able to follow and participate in discussions, not just the teams themselves.
# Suggestion
* Provide a page with an overview of where to communicate (e.g. typo3.org/communicate) in a commented list of recommended and deprecated platforms with some helpful tipps ("best practices"), similar to https://typo3.org/help
* https://talk.typo3.org
* https://decisions.typo3.org
* https://slack.typo3.org (which is not just used for support, but also for dicussions)
* mailing-lists (deprecated?): http://lists.typo3.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo
* Wiki (deprecated?) : https://wiki.typo3.org
* Slack calls
* Slack alternatives
* https://matrix.org
* Matermost (https://mattermost.com)
* on each web app page (talk,typo3.org, etc), add information at the top what it is to be used for
* Announce this new page "where and how to communicate" either via the announce slack channel, news on typo3.org or "this month in TYPO3"

It’s not that I beg for more emails but I think we should offer a page where we state how to get in touch with us aand explain a little bit, who is responsible for what. It must not necessarily be a form. A list of email addresses should be fine as well. At least there should be some important players mentioned:

**Solutions**
*Step 1:* Do we have the list of all the pages from old-site? eg., Google XML Sitemap, We have automation script to check all URLs for 404 errors.
*Step 2:* At GA (Google Analytics) and Google webmaster, you may find the list of pages which have critical 404 error.
*Step 3:* Once we find out a list of such 404 errors, We can either setup 301 redirects or could integrate particular page.
